baby, it's fact.

ohh look what we have here...
is that a podcast?
why, yes I do believe it is.

hurry up and upload already !

ohh I think I have to tell you how I made this podcast. Well, I really should of done at school, but that didn't happen. So instead I did it at home and recorded my friend...and if your just wondering what is being said before the song, its "do I start now?' just thought I would tell you that, because it sounds like something in a different language..or it could just be me. wait back to how I made it, open movie maker, press record, speak, press stop record, add music/picture, and yeah. still not finished uploading! ohh wait, yes it has, my bad.

Heeeeeeey, we just watched a few of last years video's. They were cool. But I think Aradnie, Michelle and myself can do better...hopefully.

why yes, we are in a classroom

I have two options today, to narrate a sideshow OR define things. I think I'll go with defining things. Now what may you be asking ? Do I hear broadband? Broadband is a type of data transmission in which a single medium or wire if you will, can carry several channels at once. Cable TV, for example, uses broadband transmission which can transmit data, audio, and video all at once over long distances. Now you may be asking what units are used to measure bandwidth ? or not. well its a gigabyte or better known as a GB. And now...How much faster is broadband then dial up? broadband is an average of nine times faster then dial up. That is quite a big difference if you ask me. It's kind of funny that people get annoyed because I don't number the questions making it harder for them (not) to copy my answers. So this is for you. Number 4. What are the speeds that broadband operates at compared to dial up? ummm, it really depends how fast your broadband is, but lets just say very fast. Number 5. What are some of the advantages of using a broadband connection to download something like a video compared to dial up? because broadband is faster, and more convenient. Number 6. awwww. I am meant to create an image in paint that illustrates a high bandwidth. I don't want to. I'll just do it later.
Australian Bureau of Statistics.
A) how many people subscribed to the Internet in 2007? wow, I didn't even know you could subscribe to the Internet, I always thought it was just always there. my bad. well, I got 7,105 but I'm not sure if its right..sorry. Also 965 of these were used for businesses and government use, while and 6,140 were for household uses and 9,849 more people use broadband than dial up.
B) I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know, ohh wait, yes i do. the computer i am on right now is 4.23mb/s from the computer to sydney on the map compared to the 4.14 mb/s. (did that make any sense? probably not, sorry),
C) ummm, the data transfer rate varies as in terms i can understand, it is like a traffic jam as there are too many lanes converging into a smaller number in rush hour traffic, which i do imagine would definatly slow things down.

SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES - HONG KONG GARDEN
that my friends is the song which I choose to edit, well actually all I really did was cut out the extremely long intro and basically the whole singing portion of it. ooooh, did you know that I am getting braces again. I bet you didn't. and that I am also getting glasses? how nerdy am i going to look? ummm, I would upload my sound thingy, but since I left my usb at home, that makes it a little hard. sooo, I shall upload it later on tonight, maybe, because I also have to start my history assignment! (which I should of started like three weeks ago.) and I also have the rio tinto science test tomorrow! gahh! whenever someone say's gahh, I think of meet the spartans with brittany spears...yeah you know that part when she is singing to a baby and gets kicked off a cliff, which people really shouldn't be laughing at...but it's so funny. Aradnie is away today =(

speak no evil

hola, como estas? mucho bien.so basically today I am going to make some sweet sweet music. not literally sweet, and I shall be using audacity. And since I don't feel so crash hot, I am just going to follow along with sir. Okay, since that is done and I have created a wonderful sound thingy. Here are some definitions;
stereo: reproducer in which two microphones feed two or more loudspeakers to give a three-dimensional effect to the sound.
channel: a path over which electrical signals can pass
track: a line or route along which something travels or moves
frequency: the number of occurrences within a given time period
hertz: a unit of frequency
wav, mp3, aiff: types of audio format
decibel: measurement of the intensity or loudness of a sound
**hail to the UN of CMCA! beeeeedoodoodoo !!

Okay now off topic, i think a majority of people would know what everyone in years 3,5, 7 and 9 are doing a test called the naplan. This is a stupid test. They literally asked us to spell school. Okay no offence but if you cant spell school in year nine, especially when you attend school, you are a moron. am i even allowed to say moron on here? probably not, but ohh well. But thankfully tomorrow is the last naplan test ever for me and my friends. But the catch is that it is two hours of math in a freezing cold auditorium with about 300 people. What fun.

fiction mirror's truth

prepare yourself, for what I am about to tell you might just about rock your world. the Hogwarts motto "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" translates to "Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon" in english ! that, my friends is what I call knowledge.
But on with the work. Explain the video standards PAL, NTSC, and SECAM, what are the main differences between them? you might be thinking, huh? no fear! I am now here..PAL, is used to format decks and cameras. NTSC, is a type of format to record videos on video's and SECAM, is an analog colour television system. Now here comes the fun part. the main difference between these three video standards is a format only used for broadcasting that are used in different countries. Bet you didn't know that one, did you? Now after all this technical talk, you might be left wondering which one do we use here, in Australia. We use PAL, for the fact that pal is a friend.
Are we human, or are we dancer! sorry, listening to human by the killers.
For what type of video camera would you need to have a Video Capture Card in your computer to download video? I do believe that would be a analog one. And why don’t we need a video capture card for the video we will be doing at school? because, I think we are using a digital camera! HAZAR! jeeze, going all medieval on you. Some smart person once asked "What is an IEEE 1394 port?" so, i thought i might answer that for you. It is a port in which you connect an IEEE 1394 connector to a digital video camera to a computer IEEE 1394 port. Next question...describe what a codec is? a codec is what compresses and decompresses video's. smart. And last and probably least...what is meant by generation loss, where does it happen? and nooo, it does not mean losing a generation of human beings. it is when you copy something and it's not as good as the original. It happens in both formats, but more often in analog.
