Just for the sake of delaying going to my music lesson, I am going to blog to you about the penguin I drew just then, This is actually an extension from a previous post thingy, so yeah. Here it is.

Yay! isnt it cool! I know this part is boring, but I am actually planning to pass ist, so I have to do it. First I had to find inkscape, that was a challenge. Then I just drew circles and triangles and coloured it. It wasnt that hard actually. ohh great, my father is now yelling, so I think I should end it here. Good Day Sir....where is that from, it's an old movie quote but I just cant remember...This is going to burn me all weekend...

I drew the olympic rings in word because I thought it would be easier, and guess what? I was right, it took like 2 minutes!! cool. So here are my olympic rings.

bonjour amigo, today the topic of intrest is 'Drawing Tools in Word XP' that sounds really cool when you say it out loud.. So basically, today I am going to draw 3 objects and make one normal(2D), one 3D, and another one 3D-er. So here I go....
Since I can, I am going to tell you how I did my beauitful sun/star thingy.. You open word and find the draw tools, still with me. Good. Then you draw a sun/star and press the 3D button, and TADA!! magic!

***Sorry this post is really weird, today is the 25 March,oooohh, I'm in the future, freaky. just so you know, and I was thinking to myself "I have too many posts" so I am trying to combine them together. Well I guess you figured out that I actually did what I was ment to, If your wondering what the ginger bread man/tin man is saying, it is 'you can't touch this'. I would tell you the meaning behind that phrase, but that is a long story, a REALLY long story.

&& just to let you know this is where my brain melted, so what is about to come next doesnt really apply to anyone, and if it does, awesome. we can be sad losers together!!
-I’ve come to the conclusion that Noel is a sadist, and secretly likes ruining people’s lives by revealing they’ve made a shit deal. I’ve also decided that there’s no point letting old people play, cause they’ll probably just spend their winnings on something boring like a limb replacement, or animal charity. and if your wondering what I am talking about, its 'deal or no deal'

I personally hate bloggers. The majority are boring people who deem themselves pretentious enough to write page-long essays on their mundane and uninteresting lives. My life is quite the opposite, filled with exciting frolics, and flights of fancy and other things deemed 'ist work'. These ‘blogs’ therefore will be referred to only as ‘articles’, lectures if you will, spouting my cynical and small-minded views on the inter-webs for your intellectual pleasure. Hah, what’s pretentious about that?

Today is the first day of lent! I have given up chocolate...I am now, about 4 hours clean. So anyway, on with the work, I have to draw a tin man in 'inkscape' which is proving alot harder than I would of liked. It is now 12:34pm, I have been trying to do this for about 35 minutes. All I have done is a sun. As I have stated before, I think I repel technology.
I give up, you win. I now refuse to draw this tin man. Why is it even a tin man? no-one likes the tin man, in my opinion, I think the tin man is rather annoying.
I think I should end it here, as I am just complaining.

Galoomp went the little green frog one day....
So, I'm still pretty sad about last night, but I think I will live, but on with the work....Drawing tools in word. So basically, I am going to draw something on word. And for some reason, I think this will be very hard, I'm hoping that I am wrong. I am going to draw a house!! and make it 3D, that's kinda cool.

**And after about 45 minutes of trying to get this picture on, IT FINALLY WORKED!!!!! I have never been so happy in my life!!!!

In through one ear, out the other

Picture the scene. I race into my local mini supermarket thingy, 5 minutes before closing. Hastily grab a bag of, what I believe are Chocolate Raisins and hand them to the despondent cashier. The woman couldn’t operate a till to save her life, she needs to take a few notes out, and she dropped my change ALL OVER the floor; I didn’t care though :- I was about to indulge in one of my all-time favorite confections. The Chocolate Raisin.
I got home, tore open the bag and greedily shoveled a handful into my, now watering mouth…
No.
Please; No?! Chocolate Peanuts… Peanuts. WHAT THE ...... Disappointment has never hit so hard. I spat them out in disgust and sulked for literally minutes.

Look what I can do,

that is what one would call awesome. I fully drew that, well actually painted that, on the computer! This is monochrome. And I did another which is 24-bitmap!!

I personally dont think there is a difference between the two, so I guess thats my answer. No.

***wait, wait. I get what the question was, so here is my answer: Yes and No, there is not physically a size difference, but there is a another difference, the 24 thingymajingy one is actually larger when you save it. I do not know why, so please do not ask me.

this is a continuation from "Painting Tools!" what fun.

Pencil Tool; draw free hand: thats really annoying and hard. if you havent tried to do it before, do it now.. seriously, try drawing a perfet heart or circle. Its not possible, unless you have freakishly steady hands or something. So basically, you just draw like normally, but on the computer.

BRUSH TOOL !: With the brush tool, its like painting with a brush, but again, on the computer, it's like the pencil tool, but with a brush. Makes sense doesnt it ?

Air Brush Tool: There is an air brush tool, no way! Well, i guess that you probably understand that I do not know what it does. So yeah. WAIT !! HOLD EVERYTHING! this is the spray paint button... Just wanted to say that.

Text Tool: But I do know what the text tool does, you click on the button, then a rectangular thingy comes up and you place it in the position, and you type. Its like magic..

Line Tool: Well, im not sure, but i think that it draws lines, because that would explain the name...

Whats with all the tools, seriously ? Who really needs all these tools, I'm starting to think "why dont you just paint like a normal person, what if i like coffee stains on my artwork?"

Curve Tool: Makes curves, pretty obvious.

Shape Tool: I have no idea, makes shapes ?

what's the meaning ?

hey there, we just did the "quiz" that I talked about last time, and since im me, I didnt find it necessaryto study, big mistake. I think I failed, so next time I will study, study, study!! yeah, thats not going to happen. So back on topic, painting tools. I havent used paint in like a billion years! I feel so old right now. "Summarize the main function of each of the following tools". I hate summarizing, it actually really annoy's me. But I will get over that, because there are more important things that summarizing. Like saving the whales! GO WHALES!!!

Capture Tools: not literally, so, you dont actually go out with a hunting net and try and catch your tools. Get with the time man, we're talking digital! You actually get a square-ish rectangular-ish square kind of thing, which you drag over your selected part and move it somewhere else. If you didnt quite get that, it's okay, because I didnt really get it either.

Eraser;to rub raint or pencil out: Yeah, no offence, but if you dont get that, your kinda slow. You rub paint, or pencil out your mistake. Got that ?

Paint Fill: This is seriously one of my favourite tools, because you can paint a whole blob with one click, if that isnt cool, I dont know what is.

And last but not least, I never really got why people say that, because what if it is least ?? ever thought of that. I think not. But anyways,

Pick Colour Tool: ummm, you pick your colour and it is a tool ? not that hard, or is it ? you never can know.

Ohh and to understand what I am talking about here is the picture I was ment to show you at the beginning....
here is it........ and again it isnt working!!! I think I repel technology, and its not just me, I even brought re-enforcements (ninoshka) to help, and she failed aswell, obviously. So I will describe with you are ment to be looking at, so you open paint, yeah. Then look at the side bar, and thats it.

And I just realised that im not finished, i have 9 more tools to explain! JOY!!! So here I go....
Ohh, and im really sorry that this blog goes on FOREVER, its not my fault, well I could be boring like everyone else and just do what is asked and not putting in my opinion, but seriously what fun would that be ?? i'll tell you, NONE. My hand hurts. I know it seems like im complaining, but i'm just telling you about my day, well, actually if I did, this blog would never end, so im not going to do that. So back to work, again.

busy, busy, busy

Well, I have something to say about this topic, I find digital art really COOL!! yeah, i know that's weird, but who cares, I know I dont...yet.

But I feel like asking you a question? Even though I dont know who you actually are. But dont hold that against me. So yeah, "is digital art a valid form of art?"

Well, i know nobody asked me to answer, well, not physically, but they did techniqually. That sounded really lame. I think it is a valid form of art as its art, who cares if its painted or done on the computer. Its the artist thinks it art, thats fine with me. And there are some advantages to digital art, like if you make a mistake, not a tiny little one that you can hide, I'm talking about the "crap, i just spilled a bucket of....coffee (very good coffee), with 10 satchets of brown sugar, topped with green milk." Yeah, try getting that out. But if you do digital art, you won't have that problem, would you. I think I have proved my point.

Next Issue: what skills mush a digital artist possess to create GREAT digital art. I dont know, photoshop? ohh, and the artist has to be creative, so they wont make yucky art.

DIGITAL MEDIA !!!!! =]

Well, lets start off. Digital media is all around us, yeah. You can have mobile phones, or as old people say "cellphones", cd's, video's, televison, INTERNET, and video games!!! But one of the most "important" forms of digital media are computers! seriously, they like rule the world, or do they? because behind the computer is the Binary Numeral System! YAY, numeral system!!
Did you know, these systems are used to convert real-world information or represent numeric values using the code of 2 numbers '0' and '1'. I dont think you did... Anyways, each of these numbers '1' or '0' are called bits. Plural, bytes! This is used as information storage in computer science. Bytes can usually consist of 8 bits in computers nowadays but can vary according to the different hardware.

Now moving on, sampling rates. To be honest I dont really know, so I'm going to look it up in wikipedia! What would I do if wikipedia didn't exist? I have no idea. So back to sampling rates, a sampling rate is typically expressed in samples per second, or hertz (Hz), the rate at which samples of an analog signal are taken in order to be converted into digital form. If you dont get what I am rambling on about here is a picture to help you understand. COLOUR DEPTH !!!
The colour depth does affect the outcome of an image, it's pretty simple, the higher the number of colours then the more realistic the image will appear. wow. Now i will try again to put a beauitful picture comparing colour depth for you. I really hope this will work! And of course it doesnt. And yes I know you have to click the "add image" button, but its not working.

And yes, I still have more to say. So here it is, okay we know that colour depth effects both still and video digital media. yeah, still with me. But we also know that sampling rates only effect video but not still media. And I dont know why, and I bet you dont either, so I find it my duty to tell you. Well im not sure, but I think because colour depth is constantly changing the colours, and i dont actually know what I am talking about. So I will comeback later and answer this question. okay.

Well anyways, I have other work to be doing, so I'm going to do that now. And yes I realised that I that I am just going on and on, so I will stop. Right..............now.
