fiction mirror's truth

prepare yourself, for what I am about to tell you might just about rock your world. the Hogwarts motto "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" translates to "Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon" in english ! that, my friends is what I call knowledge.
But on with the work. Explain the video standards PAL, NTSC, and SECAM, what are the main differences between them? you might be thinking, huh? no fear! I am now here..PAL, is used to format decks and cameras. NTSC, is a type of format to record videos on video's and SECAM, is an analog colour television system. Now here comes the fun part. the main difference between these three video standards is a format only used for broadcasting that are used in different countries. Bet you didn't know that one, did you? Now after all this technical talk, you might be left wondering which one do we use here, in Australia. We use PAL, for the fact that pal is a friend.
Are we human, or are we dancer! sorry, listening to human by the killers.
For what type of video camera would you need to have a Video Capture Card in your computer to download video? I do believe that would be a analog one. And why don’t we need a video capture card for the video we will be doing at school? because, I think we are using a digital camera! HAZAR! jeeze, going all medieval on you. Some smart person once asked "What is an IEEE 1394 port?" so, i thought i might answer that for you. It is a port in which you connect an IEEE 1394 connector to a digital video camera to a computer IEEE 1394 port. Next question...describe what a codec is? a codec is what compresses and decompresses video's. smart. And last and probably least...what is meant by generation loss, where does it happen? and nooo, it does not mean losing a generation of human beings. it is when you copy something and it's not as good as the original. It happens in both formats, but more often in analog.

complete innocence

hahaha..I am in the future....today is the 5/4/09.

Today i am going to talk about video's. This blog could go two possible ways, you could love it and print this out and stick this above your bed, OR you can absolutely hate it and stop reading it right now, there is no in between. Okay, so here we go...the video format we will be using this term is digital video, but what is that you may ask, what is the other, older format that was used recently? Analog. yepp, that simple. So still with me, great! so, I guess this will be on your wall in no time. Next you may ask is, describe the difference between the two formats? mmmm, digital is taking over the world ? or in reality, analog is made up of continuously varying waveforms. And digital is only transmitted as precise points selected at intervals on the curve. Exciting isn't is? why yes, I do think so. Moving on...What are some advantages of digital video? its digital, and I don't know what else. How about for once, you tell me. Why do I have to do all the work. Shame on you for making me do this. Well, I'm over it. What is meant by frame rate in video? so you know what a frame rate is, so basically in a video it has a higher frame rate to make a smoother picture/video. Wow, we are zooming past these aren't we. do all applications use the same frame rate, explain your answer? they don't have to, but it is recommended as below 10 frames/second, the viewer becomes to notice the jerkiness. but you could have a higher frame rate, no-one is stopping you.
Okay, since I don't actually believe that you are reading this, I am going to ask you a question that you can only answer if you keep on reading. What is meant by resolution, and how is it measured? I don't know B2, why don't you tell me. B2 said it is represented by the number of individual pixels that are on the screen, & is expressed as a number of horizontal pixels times the number of vertical pixels. (eg 670x400). Wow, thanks B2. Question Seven. Already ? actually you didnt know that did you, because unless you were counting, which if you were I would be sounding pretty stupid right now. What is the colour system called RGB? stands for red, green, and blue components of a colour. Facinating isnt it.

more annoyed.

Okay since blogger has to be difficult, my animation wont load. very angry. And yes, I have tried flickr, but nooooooooo, image was too large, then movie "unable to load". Biggest lie of my life. Why does technology hate me? It's not like I did anything to it, on purpose. hmmmph. annoyed.
&& Yes, I have tried photobucket, but its still not letting me upload, it said my image was too large, after I waited an hour for it to load.
-I could do take the easier option, which would be to make my animation smaller, but I cant be bothered, so I'm going to upload to YouTube. Okay, just thought of a problem with that. Our school doesn't allow YouTube. damm.
Okay more problems that I faced
-the internet HATES me
-my animation refuses to upload
-blogger is extreamly fustrating
And I made my animation smaller, it is now 2.something MB.

satisfaction

hellooo, today is the last IST lesson before its due. So yeah, its last period, and I'm really tired. But the good news is that I've finished my assignment! finally. And the complete animation is saved as an animated gif.
&& the final size of my animation is 7MB, cool huh. Just so you know, my animation has 172 frames. That, my friends, was tedious, as after every move, no matter how small I had to save it. And, (I'm sorry for going on and on) I have changed my animation idea, just because of the fact that I felt everyone else's was really good, and mine could of been better. I'm not going to tell you what it is about, you'll just have to waste five seconds of your life watching it. Astala byebye
