can this really be the end of me

weeeeeeell, the time has come to the last lesson of the year. and i think i've gone back abit by doing something that really should of been done at the first lesson this term.. well better now then never right ?

key moves !! (self-explanatory)

anyways, since i am doing ist next year, i shall see you again then, but i think i might make a new blog to start fresh, if you catch my drift.

&& follow the mouse :)
oh nooo ! the bell went !! oh darn. sorry :(

you are about to be crushed by a giant corn.

ummmm, supps ?
this is my first lesson back since FOREVER and our assignment is due next lesson, and i highly doubt that i can finish (let alone start) mine.
so basically, how it's going to go down is me spending my time completing the scratch challenges that i was not able to complete before i left.

guten tag (which means hello, but you get my point) my awesome people :)

&& here is challenge 4. which i found rather challenging, but i guess why they call it challenge 4....lame joke. gosh, making a bad increase in size was not fun.

this isnt just goodbye this is i cant stand you

today is my last day :(

so i'm going to try and do as much as i can in this lesson so i can compensate for not handing in the assignment (which is seems like the coolest one this year)

here is one of the challenges, and i forget which one it is, but it's the drum beat. here's a look on how to change costumes/move/play a cool drum beat.

&& since i'm super awesome, here is another challenge, which is keeping score...

if this is what you want, then fire at will

scratch challenge 3, hells yeah !

today i had to insert a bat and make it change costumes to give it the appearence to fly by flapping it's wings..
here's a look at my awesome creation !

i won't give you up, i won't let you down

weeell, since i'm so wonderful i thought of doing scratch challenge 1 & 2 in the same scratch frame thingy. Which worked really cool when it is being played, but no so much when i screen shot it and place it here...

it's really cool because the bat glides down on the lion/giant rat thing and goes "nomnomnom" and it's awesome.

i am set to leave on the 6th... so, let the count down begin

p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIADNE =)

in your eyes, you were the one who tried

microsoft windows sept (7)

&& here are some questions which i am sure many people will find fascinating

1. What versions is Windows 7 available in?
windows 7 is available in six different editions, but there is an unlimited amount of them if you take away the 'different' factor.
2. Describe some of the features of the new task bar.
-you can mouse over one program and all windows associated with it will appear
- there are large icons ;)
-you can have 2 windows open to fill the desktop
3. What are jump lists and how will they be useful?
okay, going with the obvious, because they just are. As they work when you click (left/right, doesnt really matter) and drag any program icon that is on the ask bar to seel a list of files that you've used lately in a particular program, this is useful as it helps make recently opened files easier to access.
4. How can one quickly size two windows to fill the desktop side by side?
maybe you should watch it to find out, i dont like spoiling a good ending... but seriously, i'll finish this later...maybe (wink wink, place 2 windows to fill the desktop side by side, simply move one of the windows further to the left and the other further to the right, and the will automatically re-size to fit half the screen each.)
5. Research and describe the 9 multi touch gestures that Windows 7 uses (note: this site does not describe the gestures you will need to run a search).
-1) tap and double tap. clicking and double clicking
-2) selection/drag. like a mouse dray and selection but moving your fingers on the screen
-3) panning with inertia. scrolling, moving the page up or down with your fingers
-4) press and tap with second finger. basically right clicking but with your second finger
-5) zoom. kinda like the Ctrl key + Scroll wheel. pinch 2 fingers together or apart to zoom in and out of a document
-6) rotate. touch 2 spots on a digital photo and twist to rotate it
-7) 2 finger tap. tapping with two fingers zooms in aroung the middle of where you tapped. it can also restore to the default zoom.
-8) press and hold. same as right click. press down on the screen and release after the animation has appeared
-9) flicks. flicking left or right to go forward or backwards in a browser and other applications.
oh golly ! that took a long timeee
6. What is XP mode. What users would find this feature most useful would it be useful?
XP mode is used to run older programs and it's useful for people who work with heeeeaps of documents and need to find them fast.
7. What feature related to removable drives has Windows 7 removed in a bid to increase security?
when you plug your USB or hard drive in it doesn't run them automatically anymore so there is less infections.
8. What are the minimum hardware requirements for windows 7.
1GHz processor, 1 or 2GB RAM, 16-20GB of free space on your hard drive and a directX 9 graphics device.
9. What observations does the article offer regarding performance for Windows 7?
-sometimes it is the slowest out of Windows XP and Vista
-it is the fastest to shutdown
-windows 7 RTM ties with XP for Itunes encoding
-slower than XP and Vista for booting up cold by a bit more than 1 second
-feels faster when loading programs, opening the control panel, dragging icons, files and folders around than XP

OHMYFUZZYGOSHKINS !! i do believe i'm finished

nodding acquaintance

weeeeeeeeeell, today sir is away, and i need to start my project. i've watched a few tutorials just to get started. But, i have abit of a problem as i have no idea what kind of game i shall create. I was thinking this cool green monster game that just eats everything, but i think after about 30 seconds it would get extremely boring and give up. Soo, back to square one, or an empty screen.
umm, i dont know what else to say.
still have nothing to say.
still nothing...
Ohh i know, actually wait, nevermind :(

MINTIES !!

well, i've just had this wonderful idea pop into my head and i shan't tell you for the fear of someone stealing it, but i will say one word about it. MEXICO !

you've got a riot on your hands

heeeeeey !

well, this term i'm on a speedy gonzales course as i am taking a holiday in the middle of the term.

so, this is my "scratch" account, knock yourself out ;)
http://scratch.mit.edu/users/nunchuku
&& it's not linking, oh well.

basically this "scratch" is a computer game design thing. And i am now on a mission to create a game in 2 weeks..
but, i totally think i can do it.

wish me luckk !

we are the people who rule the world

hello to a new term !
&& another assignment, which i think will be rather interesting.

"Computers never do what you want them to do, they only do what you tell them to!"
i agree. hazar :)

here are some definitions that society deems necessary for us to know.
Algorithms: A step-by-step problem-solving procedure for solving a problem in a finite number of steps.
Pseudocode: is a detailed description of what a computer program or algorithm must do, expressed in a formally-styled natural language rather than in a programming language.
Machine Language: A set of codes as instructions for a processor to do.
High Level Computer Language: A programming language that lets a programmer write programs.
Flowchart:A representation of a sequence of operations.

This square-on-an-angle thingy represents decision "yes" or "no"
This circle thingy represents start/end

This rectangle represents the process/action

here's hoping

please work scrapblogg !

i just edited everything, putting pages where they're ment to be, re-linking all 5o pages !!
but its all good, because for now, it works.

as stated before, we dont really like scrapblog anymore as it has some problems like deleting things. Which for an assignment is never good. And ofcourse we resolved that problem by redoing all those pages, and re-linking everying quite a number of times which is extremely annoying.

scrapblogg

more like scrap-we're-going-to-delete-half-your-work-the-day-it's-being-marked-and-if-you try-and-fix-it-we'll-just-do-it-again-blog.

it was fine on friday, but nooo. I checked it this morning, and of course, the links dont work, they've deleted pages, and put repeats in their place.

We've done all our work though.

So, i would not recommend scrablog for the future because its a stupid site that deletes things.

bittersweet end

warning !! some links dont work, but most should

last minute scrapblog adventures

well, today's the before it's due.
And scrapblog is having a spastic attack or something, and its not just my group either. EVERYONE is having this problem. But we didnt lost much, only a few pages, and our video's, but nothing we cant handle.
so, lets just pray we get it finished today.

oh poop. there was a repeat of two of my pages, so i deleted them, but i just realised that they were my advantages and disadvantages !!!! i guess i'll have to do them tonight.

the sound of madness

well hello there !
the title would be relevant if i were doing soundcards, but since i am not, woops.
we'll we're pretty much finished, just adding all the links for the 6th time (scrapblog keeps of changing/deleting them).

i dont know what to say, just check out this link below, and you'll see why i've basically stopped blogger, but worry not, i'll be back.

space they cannot touch

HAND HELD MULTIMEDIA !!

well, actually working on motherboards.
they are quite interesting, not to mention alittle expensive. but they're cool, and without them, there would be no computer, well there would be, but it would most likely be a empty box with a keyboard drawn on.

&& this website really helps
check it out
http://computer.howstuffworks.com/

And, we had a problem today, my links dont work. And it took like half an hour to create all the links and making them work. I will reput them in, but they might not work, sorry

click click.

vell vell, how are ve today ?
in the last few lessons, i've been working on our scrapblog (link in the side thingy) and i think it's been going very well.
so far there have been no major problems except for the fact that we cant work on it at once...but we've got over that problem by not working at the same time.
and yeah, nothing much new..
wait !! i did the CPU test (with the help of the internet, what ?! it was really hard. actually not really because most of the answers were in the answers in the task which i did before, smart aye ? i thought so)
ummm, now i think thats it.

straight lines

ohh no ! i realised that i haven't answered the questions ( well i did, but not about scrapblog) so here i go. actually, i think i might of already said half this stuff, but ohh well, just read it for the love of reading.
scrapblog has some really cool things that we can use, such as; text, movies, stickers, images, and more which i will edit on tomorrow.
scrapblog is also easy to use as we can create links between the pages and you can just click of something, then ta-daa ! your there. There is a menu system, but for our slide show, we might not use it-depends how much time we have left.
The down side of scrapblog as no-one has noticed yet, is that yes, two people can work on it at the same time, but you can not save/publish at the same time. (I've said why in the post underneath the post underneath this [the one under the one under this])

Goku.

how-de-do ?!
CPU.
the CPU holds the microprocessor, which basically means its the brain of a computer. the first CPU was dubbed "intel 4004" which was waaay back in 1971 ! (btw, does intel 4004 sound like something that belongs in a transformers movie? why, i do think so.)
And since 1971 was ages ago, technology has improved. For example back in the day the clock speed was 2MHz, and now its around 3.6MHz. (which is like 60% faster !!)
did you know that MIP's measure the computer and is capable of 1 000 000 (is that 1 million ? well, its meant to be 1 million) instructions per second.
or that a duel core processor is a CPU that has two execution cores with one chip? i don't think you did...
But i think you get that multitasking is when you are doing more then one thing at one time, well, same for computers except they run more then one task at a time.
And back with the unknown... the intel atom processor uses less power and is really small while sill allowing a 'big internet experience' which might come in use for people who use their phones to go onto the internet unlike the normal people who use a computer.

&& ohh yay ! lets not do the quiz ?!
nahh, i'll totally do it. tomorrow.
